SAP's Generative AI Hub in SAP AI Core gives enterprises governed access to multiple foundation models with GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC 2, plus an EU AI Cloud.

Profile

SAP AI Core — Generative AI Hub

The Generative AI Hub in SAP AI Core is SAP's governed gateway to large language models for enterprises already running SAP Business Technology Platform. Rather than a single model, it provides "access to multiple foundation models including GPT-4o via Azure OpenAI, Claude from Anthropic, Gemini from Google, Mistral, and SAP-RPT-1", with prompt orchestration, grounding and content filtering built in.

For compliance, SAP states the hub is "compliant with GDPR and ISO 27001, and is certified for SOC 1 and SOC 2", and that "customer data is never shared with third-party vendors for training their large language models". SAP is also building an EU AI Cloud for European enterprises and the German public sector, backed by a new data centre in France.

SAP AI Core suits organisations that want sovereignty and governance wrapped around best-of-breed commercial models inside their existing SAP estate — a different proposition from open-model token APIs.
