Server log files

When the website is accessed, technically necessary access data (including IP address, timestamp, requested resource and user agent) is processed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, stable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This data is deleted or anonymised after a short period.

Newsletter (double opt-in)

We use the double opt-in procedure for our newsletter: after you sign up, you receive a confirmation email, and we only add you to the distribution list once you confirm. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future — for example via the unsubscribe link in every email.

Audience measurement

To improve our offering we use privacy-friendly, where possible cookieless audience measurement. Where consent is required, we obtain it in advance (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 TDDDG).
